Went out to the car this morning, and out of the blue I have no headlights whatsoever, no power to the motor or the lights themselves, I have a manual but for the life of me I cannot find where the fuse is located, can anybody enlighten me?
I think you want the one that says Bat on it, would be the 3rd one down from top, then 3rd one over towards the right, I`m pretty sure the head light wiring is protected by a circut breaker too..

Well that fuse was not the problem as it looks like it controls the inside dome lights/under the dash.. Does anybody have ANY idea why headlights would just stop working? All I did this weekend was install a heater core, and I am pretty sure that nothing I did during that would have caused all power to fail regarding the headlights..
I really need some help on this as its getting dark really early here, and as of right now I don't have any other transportation..
Thanks!!!

if your headlights are not turning on the a fuseable link must have burned. (there is a circuit breaker in the switch too, but i dont think it's related) it must be one of the first two fuseable links in the system, i'm surprised that everything else is working. what year do you have?

The headlight circuit is protected by a circuit breaker inside the headlight switch. There's also a fusible link in the circuit - it's located back at the C500 connector unless you've got an '84, then it's at the starter solenoid.
Try swapping in a new headlight switch - they're inexpensive, and available at most auto parts stores (they were used on a lot of different GM cars and trucks). If that doesn't do it, it's going to be a task that requires a wiring diagram and a voltmeter to track the problem down.
Thanks for all the responses, I went ahead and swapped in a headlight switch yesterday afternoon on my way home and everything works fine now(good thing too, as it was raining heavily)..
Thank god for the simple things.. LOL I was NOT looking forward to troubleshooting the fuseable links..
