Which side did you break and was it the inner tri pod or the outer CV or the shaft?

1988 3800SC 4t65eHD == 4 times on pass-side--right where the axle is inserted into the hub assembly.

88 GT 3.4 DOHC-turbo getrag

Drivers side warped once (dont ask how, I dont know, it started vibrating bad under accel, when I removed the axel and spun it you could see the shaft wobble)

Drivers side snapped the shaft another time

355 sbc, and I shattered the inner tri-pot on the passenger side. What a mess!

tri pod 3 times on my 383 V8, passenger side. V6 turbo never did.

A friend of a friend of mine here with a 400+hp LT1in his fiero broke the drivers side twice. Inside of the spline looked like seafoam so the casting was bad. I was absolutely amazed when he showed me the broken bits.

Lets see my first year was very abusive towards my car it saw a lot of miles and a lot of very hard driving. Two driver's side axles one damaged the tranny and three passenger's axles two blew apart and one twisted the shaft. Learned a valuable lesson and that is if you are going to show off by lifting the front wheels make sure the path ahead is smooth and level. Dan
