You CAN get replacement keys if the car IS in your name, and you can provide a copy of the title and your drivers license. I just got a completely new set of keys for my Fiero from the local Pontiac dealership. They typed in the VIN into the computer system and they were able to cut keys for me.
Other than that, I can't think of any other way to get into the trunk (without decklid release) short of drilling out the lock.

I really dont know anything about this but my only thought coming to my head would be to take apart the center counsel and disconnecting the shifter cable and puting it in gear by hand. I dont know what locks a auto shifter assembly from getting taken out of gear when the key is not in the ignition but I dont know what else you could do.

Two ways... You can take the console apart. There's a cable that comes from under the dash that attaches to the front of the shifter. Once you disconnect that cable, the shifter can be moved. Or you can try to reach up from under the tranny and pop the cable end off of the shift arm. Then you can move the shift arm. If you do this, be careful that the car doesn't roll over you or somebody else.
You still won't be able to turn the steering wheel.
you can jack the car up and put wheel dollies under the wheels, that works well, a flatbed tow truck can easily drag the car onto the bed without unlocking the tranny/steering.
I believe the fiero lock cylinder is weak, so screwing a good dent puller into the lock and slamming the sliding weight will destroy the cylinder pins and make it come out. then you can with the right tools disable the steering and shifter locks. you will do about $300.00 in damage and possibly damage the steering column. Search on the internet for how to steal a car, as what you have to do is pretty much identical short of the hot-wiring.
Going to a pontiac dealer with the VIN would be the fastest and cheapest way, you might also contract some locksmiths, some are capable of getting past older GM locks as well.
If you are looking at a free and really quick option, it really does not exist. you either need to spend money or cause lots of damage, or spend lots of time disassembling.

For the tranny, pull the console and disconnect the cable like Raydar suggested. For the steering, pull the steering wheel and remove the lockplate underneath it. Now you can steer it. If you go a little deeper into the column, you can take out one screw (Torx bit) and remove the entire key lock cylinder. Then a screwdriver becomes the "key" and you can turn on the ignition and unlock the shifter and steering normally.

why not just disconnect the cable from the trans and manually shift it into neutral?
he has no access to engine compartment (decklid locked no keys) he could take the dr side rear wheel off and do it if he jacked the car up (after he blocked the front wheels) and do what you suggested.

Why not? my trunk release works when the key is off in both of my cars. ( which makes sence for safey reasons, you wouldnt want the thing to open while flying down the road )
*edit* Grr it wont work beacuse he dont have a power release.. i misread it. thought he said he DID have one.. doh!

Jack up the drivers side, pull the rear wheel and remove the retainers from the back half of the rubber mud flap. Take a screw driver and reach in and pop the shift cable off the shift lever pin then shift it into neutral by hand.

Most tow companies do this now anyway, at least in Boston, they did. There are so many AWD cars on the roads now, and people trying to do other tricks to keep their cars from being towed, it's just safer for them legally. It can be problematic for lowered cars, or if the tires are against a concrete stop or something, though. I'd just see if the towing co. can do that, if you're having it towed.

The doors are open. It's an auto. No power deck release. I have no keys. How can I get past the ignition lock without the breaking tool.
Might take an hour or so, if you have a spare, keyed steering column you can just replace the column in the car--actually not that difficult (I'm gonna do one today.) You would need a keyed column for a car with A/T of course.
Alternatively, if you have a steering wheel and a compressor for that internal plate thing, you can replace the lock mechanism on the car in about 30 minutes. Then you have a keyed ignition switch.

I was searching for answers to another members question when I saw this. It struck me as funny that someone would yell for urgent help, then not answer back, ever! Just wondering if anyone ever heard from him again. He had 635 posts, so he wasn't a newb who asked before searching. And since he never answered back, I was wondering if maybe he WAS stealing the car, lol.

Not unusual for people not to let others know when the problem gets solved. Looks like the only option in which to find out is to send the member a PM since no e-mail address is in his profile. You might give that a shot.
