I own an 06 saturn vue v6 Awd. It turns out that the motor that is in the car gm calls the L66 is actually a honda motor. Namely the j35. J series motors went into the acura TL and now the 3.5 is going into the RL. The engine in the acura is a vtec dohc 60 degree v6. the one in the vue is a sohc version that puts out 250 horsepower.(check out streetfire.net to see one beat a gt mustang with just intake and exhaust for mods) what i haven't been able to figure out is what tranny gm is using. I am assuming that it is a japanese transmission but information is vary limited does anyone know anything about it?

I think a repair manual can help you out. or the code on the transmission itself.
