Wow, that may help explain why shop time costs are $100/hour now

Would you mind explaining briefly (for the novice engine swap and dreamer crowd), what is the purpose of this thread? You are showing some cool engine technology here but I can't figure out what it all means. Are you gradually working around to recommending an alternative swap to the popular 3800SC?

I found a private owned wreck G6 3500 sport auto 06 car with 9k miles!!!!
the guy pulled the front end sheet metal for his car a 4 banger
and is pull most of the int and dash to up grade his base 4 car
and wants to sell me the rest of the car [hit in the rear]
mostly the motor and trans left in it
but he knows very little about the car or v6 auto

so the following questions
3500 06 vairyable valve timming or not [does it say on the motor?]
other external clues as to v v t or not??
after market or hacked CPU for this motor and trans???
I guess the trans is el-trick and needs control
is that in the CPU or are there more then one computer box to get hooked up

what is a sport auto?? he claims it is a shiftable auto like a tiptronic
how strong is it, I think it is a 44x not a 465 ?

what is this v6 and auto trans worth??
whats needed to swap into a fiero??
as far as mounts, axles, and other bits

The VVT is controled by a large solenoid look at some of the pictures. I think the 3.9L LGD shows it. It is in the center in front of the cam.
