I'm working on an '86 SE with the 82D interior; the dash is two-tone gray. After doing some repair work on the corners - and also because it's a little ratty in spots - it needs to have the lower (lighter) section repainted. I'd happily order a can of SEM for it - if I could identify the proper color. The service data label is unavailable at this time (don't ask), so I've tried to research the color through the P22 book. After digging around in there for a while I finally determined that they call it different things on different pages and the final word is to "refer to the Fisher Body manual for paint information". I thought I had a good selection of Fiero documentation, but that's not on the shelf.
Next was to search the forum (active and archives) to see what others had said about this subject. I found lots of threads about people changing interior colors and a couple that asked the same question I have. Those threads ended without an answer.
Does anyone have the answer to this question: what SEM color matches the lighter color on an '86 two-tone gray dashboard?
I don't know if this will help, I have a couple of spots on my dash in my Yukon XL that the paint got rubbed off from hauling lumber. I went to the auto paint store and they computer matched the color on my dash. They can put the paint into a aerosol spray can for you if you don't have a compressor and spray gun.

I've done some more research and found that there are three colors used in the interior of '86 Fieros. They cut it back to 2 in '87 - but since I'm working on an '86 the three colors are:
WA8247 - Medium Gray WA8595 - Dark Gray WA7701 - Graphite
Next question - where could I get these colors in spray cans? SEM doesn't seem to care about cars as old as ours; they have colors with similar names but the color codes don't match up.

...as meantioned above, try an auto paint/body supply store as they could probably put it into a can. NAPA has a paint division (I don't recall the name off hand) - but you may find some other shops in your area (body shops have to buy their supplies from someone). I also have a local dealership that does paint mixing into cans as well.
BTW - how did you happen upon the interior paint codes? Something I would like to come across, as I usually have to do the color matching method and that is not always 100%.

There's a surprising lack of auto body supply stores around here; the local body shops do their own color matching / mixing and everyone seems to get their supplies from a distributor on the other side of town. Of course, that distributor doesn't want to be bothered with individuals with tiny orders. I suspect the lack of supply stores has something to do with the incredibly high real estate prices and California's "interesting" regulations regarding auto paint. Some of the products that auto painters rely on all over the world are not available here - or are only available in a "special" formulation.
The interior paint codes are listed in the 22P - the real 22P, not the cut-down version circulating as a PDF. If it's not a two-inch thick book, it's not the full 22P. Using the chart labeled "1986 Interior Colors" and the trim code for the interior (82D) I could figure out that it was color scheme 82 and look at the 82 code colors in the chart. That got me the WA numbers (you want W12Axxxx to get the right sheen) for the paints.
It also showed that there's another similar color scheme - color scheme 12. It has slightly different colors with the same names and different WA numbers. Those WA numbers match up with SEM paints - good for somebody else but not for us.
For those with '86 cars with tan interiors - here's your color codes:
If it's the medium gray that has a blueish tone to it, I found a vinyl spray at Advance auto parts that was almost identical. There is the correct one and another one that is close, so drive the car or take a piece of trim with you so that you get the right one(don't ask).

The closest Advance to me is about 1400 miles away; do you know the brand / color number of that spray?

Every Pontiac dealer's parts department had one. It's no longer in print; occasionally a copy shows up on Ebay. It's several hundred pages; a very big catalog.
It's every bit as valuable as the Service Manual. In addition to having drawings, locations and part numbers for every part in the car it's got a hundred pages or so of background data. Things like color codes, RPO codes, VIN number coding, etc.
Now all I need is the Fisher Body manual and I'll have the complete set...

When I redid the interior of my 86GT I used all Sem products and have been very satisfied with the results. I believe there is no exact match in their product line. I used the Presidio gray and a satin black and then put the satin clear over it all. It looks great and seems to be holding up real good. I also used their prep materials. I lucked into a sale online at "your auto trim" and got all the materials for a good price. Locally, Sem was going for 13 and 14 bux a can and most local distributors don't rotate their stock often enough to gaurantee colors and quality.
