I don't know if you all have heard of putting a 4200 Vortec Engine in a Fiero. A 4200 Vortec engine is an Inline-six engine made by Chevy. It's in a Chevy Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Buick Rainer, Oldsmobile Bravada. Chevy made them in 2002 to 2007. The engine makes 275 HP. Do you think this could fit in a Fiero?

The overall length of the engine would most likely be too long to get the engine/transmission in between the Suspension. You'll have to cut thru the frame rails for sure.

I would agree, the engine length would be a issue that would have to be dealth with.

I had a Trailblazer, saw one of the engines out on a stand at the dealer. They are TALL, it's a DOHC. Front axle goes through the oil pan, diff is bolted to the side. That was done to save heighth. Thing must be close to the heighth of a smallblock with a tunnel ram. The I5 is essentially the same engine minus one cylinder.
