In some OBD 1 cars with MAF sensors a MAF malfunction could set a false code 32. Since the MAP sensor takes the place of the MAF in the Fiero is it possible that the MAP sensor might also be causing the problem with a Kpa mismatch for example. On my resent swap I received an intermittent code 34 a number of times on startup which went away when the code in the chip was changed and I installed the appropriate 2 BAR MAP for my application. The major difference initially being an old sensor vs a new one. EGR is disabled in the chip since my engine did not come with one.
Perhaps checking the plugs for good contact might help also, otherwise my voltages checked out fine.
