i am wanting to fill in the holes left from my spoiler what is a good way to go about this

Well the best way to do it would be to use fiberglass cloth/resin and cover the holes, let it dry and sand it smooth. But if your like me and cant glass anything, I used epoxy putty. Just put enough in the hole and make sure its held in firmly. Let it dry and sand it smooth, I did that when I took off my luggage rack. The only bad thing about my way was the inside of your decklid wont be as nice.

I like to V out both sides. Then I put tape over the outside and put filler on the inside. When that hardens, I pull off the tape and put whatever filler Im using on the outside too. Makes it like a tire plug so it cant pop back out.

Don't use fiberglass resin, Use the SMC repair kit. Fiberglass will expand/contract and different rates than SMC and you will get lines where you patched the holes.
