Good trick for removing and installing cradle bolts is using the weight of the engine + jamming it with a screwdriver.

I tried using the weight of the engine before, but never thought of shoving a screwdriver in there to help. Thanks!

Since you have a window cut out already, a permanent solution would be better than my little trick since the nut plate can be hard to locate in the hole again once the bolt is removed.
