I don't think anyone here has done it. There have been a couple of threads on that unit, but I've never heard that anyone actually used one.

It's been done I expect it is fun. The one I saw was running too rich so I expect the metering is an issue. As for whether it can be done, absolutely. Now you'll have an argument from all the turbo guys as to why turbo's are better.

turbos are not exactly better just like superchargers are not better both have flaws even though they are ingenious ideas

S/C = low speed/high power
high speed/low power

Turbo = low speed/low power
high speed/high power

Turbo S/C = Awesome Mix

At one point, I was seriously considering the Fageol supercharger for my modded V6. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one. They are very rare. And the few who own them don't seem to want to give them up.

If I ever do get my hands on one, things are gonna get pretty interesting around here.

Member wet-buffalo was putting one on his 3.4L two years ago, I don't know if he ever actually completed it. I thought someone else did have one installed but I can't locate the thread. Maybe it was someone on the 60 Degree V6 forum??

I know of a few pick-up trucks that use it. It is designed to mount on it's own lower intake because it is a roots style.
Fageol does have the correct parts to install one on a Fiero. The only limitaion was you only had the 5psi or the 7psi pulley that you could use with the Fiero because of the size of the crank pulley. The 9 psi pulley only came in the 3" cog belt. The other thing was you had to use either a 2-bbl TPI, a 2-bbl vari-jet carb or the Holley 390 cfm 4-bbl carb on top of it. If I recall there was not enough room on the lower intake the install fuel injectors.
Somewhere I have a listing of parts available as well as the mechanical drawings for it. I was thinking of using one on my 3.4L originally. Back then (around 2003) it would have cost around $2100 for all the parts.

Some pics can be seen here: http://614streets.com/Fageol.html

Here is a TBI version (it was in a truck)

I also have one of these blowers that I intend to use on a 3.4. It is a project I have been working on for several years and should have running later this year. If it works ok I will post pictures.

I installed a faegol on my 3.4 came out pretty good
BUT I had a 3.4 allready in the car and found a feagol on the bay cheap
If I was starting from scratch I.d go 3.8sc instead
In the end It'll cost about the same lots of parts were needed to get this going correctly
and it all adds up
If someone wants pics of the install send me a email address and I'll see what I can do
