What do people do on your engine swaps about the throttle cable? I need an end like this:

And a round mounting, where the cable body attaches to the TB.

You can kind of see in this pic how I need it to run, the throttle calbe attaches to the top round hole, then the cable part goes around the bellcrank on the TB, and has a barrel connector at the end that fits in a hole:

Only the 87 and 88 4 cylinder Fieros have the proper cable to work with the newer cars. Dan

Here is an 87-88 4cyl cable with a barrel end:

This is an 86 4 cyl cable (I think) with eyelit end (used a 1/4" stainless steel bolt for the barrel:

This is an 86 V6 cable:

Here is a barrel end that came with my TV cable kit. It is slightly larger diameter than the throttle barrels, but you could easily drill out the throttle bracket:

I buy a lot of various cable ends for my business from ConQuest cable. I don't know any reason why they wouldn't sell retail, as the're a pretty small company. I think what you would need would be a 1/4" x .400 which is their number 708. these are brass barrels pre drilled for the cable so you can dip-solder them on, or crimp. you may have to buy a pack of 10, but there're like 75 cents each so no biggie. the Phone number for Conquest is 1-800-346-3150.

I got all the stuff to make up my own throttle cables for the DOHC swap from http://www.greenskyadventures.com/
It's an ultralight aircraft place but hey, whatever works.
