I am trying to do a 5x115 conversion. I thought I had it figured out but have run into a snag.

Can anyone list for me mid size GM real wheel drive cars? I want to get the front hub/rotors, have the rotor cut off so I can use the hub only

Thanks.

Actually the S10 has the same pattern as the camaro/firebird 5x4.5

Its actually 5 X 4.75. Camarobirds, s10s, intermediate RWD cars, and some 77-90 full-size use this pattern.

Pontiac 6000/ Chevy Celebrity knuckles should work just fine. You may even be able to just bolt the A body 5x115 hubs right into the standard Fiero knuckles, now that I think about it.

Here's what I have figured out so far. 90-91 Pontiac Transport or Olds Sillouette front knuckles have the mounting points (strut bolts, tie rod and A-arm) in the exact same locations (in relation to the hub) as the 84-87 Fiero rear. You now have the benifit of a larger rear hub bearing. I found some Ford Astro Van (rear wheel drive) front hub/rotors that have the 5x115 pattern (I think. They fit my 5x115 wheels). The ford hubs use the same bearings as the Corvair so I followed the instructions in the Covair hub conversion and had some "spacer taker-uppers" made (since the larger front bearings are to big for the Fiero spindle). The only problem was that the Ford lugs press into a larger hole than the Ponitac ones do. I had holes drilled into the Ford hubs (after having the rotor cut off) but measured wrong and cannot mount my wheels . Now I am trying to find front hubs from a rear wheel drive vehicle that has the 5x115 pattern just to try and make things a little easier for myself.

My wheels are the dual pattern kind. I think the other pattern is Chevy (since the Ford lugs are on a larger OD and do not line up with the other pattern).

Are there any Chevy front wheel drive cars that have the same hub mounting pattern (3 allen bolts that mount them to the spindle).

I stand corrected, I got confused with the 115mm witch is 4.5 yes the S10 is 4.75 or 120.65mm

I did think about that. If I ever have to replace the rear hub, I will have to modify them to accept the Ford lugs. If I can find a front with the GM lugs, if the bearings or races go bad, I replace them and not the hub. I could get more Ford front hubs/rotors and try to drill them again and run the risk of mess'in them up again or just drill the rears. How often do rear hubs go bad? I bought my Fiero in 92 with 105k miles on it. I started taking it apart when it hit 196+k miles and never had to replace them.

I'll ask the opinion of the forum, majority wins. Do I try to find a 5x115 front or drill the rears to accept Ford lugs? Make up my mind for me.
