With 255 in the front I'm going to need it, plus the removal of the belt driven water pump will make up for the difference.
I have some Falken 512r 255/55/16's in the front and I find the steering fairly easy... Just check tire pressures. I think my steering wheel may have a larger diameter than most, I think it's the Firebird one with the Fiero horn cap on it so that may explain it.

turning difficulty is deternimed more by wheel offset/scrub radius than tire width.
Now for the ultimate question............. Will a Honda part ruin the image of the ultimate 'Vette engine?

OMG yes! How could you do that?
A part is a part. IMO, If it fits the bill it doesn't matter where it comes from. Looks to be perfect to me and now your thinking WAY outside the GM box.
I just spent the last 14 hours browsing through this thread while at work, through the 4:30am Earthquake (?!) and now finishing it at home!!!!!
Holy Sweet Jesus, Archie, you're in a whole new echelon from when I was up there last!!!
The guys are doing some SWEET ASS glass work, and you're unbelievably detailed in your updates!!
Damn...Just damn!!
What an un-friggin-believable project, with simply astounding results!!
Wow...
I need a towel...

VTEC power steering?
Love the mounting, though. I was wondering where you'd find to mount a power steering pump. If that works out as good as I hope, that's one more thing on my to do list.

What is really interesting is I saw this car in person, went for a little ride in it, and it was just set to go for some paint and interior finishing. Now next time I see it, it will be a differrent same car! And in this timespan, mine has only succedded in getting bodywork by crash, so mine is also a differrent same car!
