Basically what's involved?

Which parts are needed for a true rebuild like Fiero maniac did?

Where to buy the parts? Well I assume Auto-parts stores of course but do you have any other input?

Go to "You Tube" and look up "buddycraigg". He has many "how to" videos on the Fiero. Most auto parts stores have the needed parts. Also the "Fiero Store" has the parts too.

Autozone carries remanufactured distributors that use a much improved reluctor/pickup/polepiece setup for around $120. Its a better design than GM used.

Add up of the cost of all the rebuild parts and you might not want to do do the labor. If you do the job yourself setting the shaft end play clearance is critical. As the distributor wears shaft slop results. You must have a set of shims to do this. When you rebuild you must recheck and adjust the end play. I would also replace all the internal parts and the module.

Thanks guys... I knew there were inside tips on how to do it. I'd hate to screw things up... I might just take the Autozone one.
