I have a fiero 2m4, in which the transmission has recently started to whine. well, we obviously have to change the tranny, but we're thinking "if we're already going through this much work, why not swap motors?"
we're thinking about the 2.4 liter Ecotech engine. it's a newer engine found in the saturn ions, and HHRs, and is basically the engine that a 2010 Fiero would have, it one existed.
well, we're already half-way done with ripping out the engine, now. i was wondering if this swap has been done before, and if so, what problems did you encounter, or tips would you share? any information about anything would definately be appreciated.
