A few weeks ago I posted :

"I am looking to upgrade tires. Is anyone using 215/60-15's up front? Any clearance or rubbing issues?

I have lowered the front 1 1/2" with WCF 400# springs and the rear with 400# coil-overs. I am thinking of using 235/60-15's on the rear."

I got a bunch of useful replys, thanks,

Since then I have been looking more and found Goodrich g-Force Sport UHP summer only tires in 225/60-15. So now I wanting to know if anyone is using that size up front on a Fiero that has been lowered 1.5"? Any clearance or rubbing?

Thanks,

Steve

Assuming you are using the stock 88 15 in rims you might want to check if 225 will fit on the front rim. If it will you also might want to make sure you won't be "bulging" over the rim too much which could degregrate handling. I'm sure the actual experts will chime in but it's a couple things to think about.

Goodrich says 6 to 8" wide wheels so I'm thinking it'll work.

This is not to the point, however, I use 195/55/15's on my stock suspension and I have lots of room. I expect that size clears the fender if it was dropped 1.5"

Sidewall is 4.22"

The 225/60/15 has a sidewall of 5.31"

Hope this helps.
