does anyone know what size bolt i need to mount a 3800sc onto an engine stand? everybolt i have tryed so far does not want to thread in nicely.

its not a 7/16 or 10 mm or 12mm is it a 11mm? anyone know?

They are 12mm by 1.75 thread i just bout some (marc)

You can get this bolts on Home Depo in the Metric bolt section.

The ones I got are 12mm x 1.75 x 70mm.
I had to get them a little longer to compensate for the "spacers" on the eng stand brackets.

I just got them yesterday.

Part # 0 30699 39848 5

And if you're in a pinch you can use the long head bolts, too.

You can use the transmission bolts from a 3800 / 65e combo if you have the short boss attachments.

i have 5 engine stands and I swear everyone of them has different size bolt bosses on the legs that attach to the engine.

good to know i dont have trans as of yet so i was just guessing at what the treads were pretty much. i had to by them at ace hardware. menards didnt have them and my home depot didnt either.
