I know that people have used the GP/ Firebird stereos and the Vibe's as well, but I was wondering what other Pontiac OEM stereos have been used. Also has anyone used the Vibes in dash 6 Disc player?
Vibe's have Double DIN radios and not a direct swap. They will only fit if you are willing to MAKE it fit by modifying the dash and wiring.
The Vibe is an "underground" swap in the sense that it works in the Fiero because Pontiac was too lazy to make the Vibe comply with all the CAN network requirements so they dumbed down the radio instead.

It's not so much that Pontiac was lazy, but that the car's mechanics and engine control are from Toyota. There was no CAN bus hardware for the radio to communicate with. The same radio (from 2003 to 2005) also had to work in the Vibe's sister car, the Toyota Matrix. In 2005 or 2006, the Matrix switched over to a Toyota radio.

If I still listened to CDs I would try one like the 6 disc MP3 changer I have in my Aveo. I think the Vibe rule would apply and I'm sure that radio is dumbed down enough that it would work in the Fiero. But all I use is the input jack to run my satellite radio/MP3 player.
