Okay, my carpet has been "drying" for 2 days now (with a fan), and its getting frustrating how its still wet. I figure it will be easier to dry if I just pull the carpeting. Is it a fast thing to do?

You have to pull the seat out, which isn't difficult. Just push the seat all the way back, and unbolt the two front 13 mm nuts that hold it to the floor. Then slide the seat all the way forward and pull the seat back all the way toward the dash and unbolt the two rear 13 mm nuts on the floor. You may need an open end wrench to get at the back ones. Then you need to remove the center console and shifter surround. Remove your ashtrays and there will be two 7 mm bolts on each side. Remove these to remove the shifter plate. You can then also lift up the vinyl shifter surround piece. Then you will see the 7 mm bolts that hold the front of the center console down. Remove these bolts, then open the console itself to check for any bolts, cause I can't remember if they are back there. After your center console is out, you should see the clips that hold the carpet to the console skeleton. Remove the clips and that side of the carpet is free. Then, with the door open, there is trim that goes along the carpet on the opposite side (where the door would close) Pop off the little round covers carefully with a screw driver. Then remove the 7 mm bolts behind them. Then you need to remove the torx bolts that hold the seat belt in. There is an upper and lower bolt, so remove both. Then remove the torx bolt that holds the seat belt latch to the floor. Now there is a very long screw that holds the B-pillar trim (behind the door/seat) on. It is in the door jam, and would be covered with the door closed. Open the door and facing the back of the car, you should see this screw. Remove the screw with a medium phillips screw driver. Then you should be able to gently pull the top of the b pillar towards the drivers side of the car, popping it off the other trim that holds the headliner up. Then gently pull that fuzzy carpeted backboard up so you can pull the back part of the carpet down. Be careful, and reach up behind the backboard to get the carpet loose. Then your carpet should be completely free to take out.

I know that sounds like a lot to do, but it really isn't. Just remember where everything goes, and you will be fine. It goes super fast going back together, so don't be scared

Good luck!
