A very interesting build indeed, highly impressed Russ

Very similar to the 1UZ kit but sounding far less expensive at this point... the 1UZ setup uses two sets of ITBs from a Toyota 4A-GE 20V silvertop. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Tr...uction-263941048.htm

I really do envy you chaps with the Northstars, would love one but there's no wrecked Caddys over here to pillage one from!

wow. It's amazing that this thread is still active. as an update to the ITB setup, I'm building a new car to install my last remaining and final set into. I always wanted a bucket T, and then a used body and a few other parts came my way a wile back so I've been working on finishing that project. my test mule motor is now a T bucket motor, backed by a T-5 5 speed trans etc.
hope all you guys are doing well at your current projects as well. I still own 2 Fieros, so I haven't gone totally over to the dark side yet .

Cheerio guys,

Russ

Russ, is that a 4.6 or a 4.0?

Hi Charlie,
It's the vin 9 4.6. I got rid of the 4.0 that I had, as I figured it was just gathering dust in my carport. I think you still have the only 4.0 with ITB injection on it . I hope you shop has AC, as I saw it was 112 down there the other day. yikes!

I wish I did today. I was only trimming the forward aluminum heat shield to fit the new engine and accessories and it took about 2 hours to recover once back in the house.
