Tight bend seem to be synonomous with almost any exhaust in a Fiero. As for HP, I'm not sure how much we lose. My exhaust is similar to yours; 3" welded U-Band into a Flotech Afterburner Muffler w two 2 1/2 exhaust pipes with Hot Tip Heddman resonators. My exhaust is pretty loud and not sure that the bends are all that restrictive. Maybe losing 5 HP??

XS power/ssautochrome headers... IMO they are very nice, and would easily use them in a fiero.

Jrgicehc, were you using this to keep the Fiero from bursting in flames? They are known for doing so.

I couldn't resist

I have fit a cat on a FWD header setup before. It was no fun but it worked ok.

The reason for this is so that they can be E.O. and C.A.R.B. certified for full smog compliance rigtht out of the box when used with the complete exhaust system, details can be founf on WCF's main page.

I wanted an exhaust system that was quiet at speed and still retained a good note at idle. Please keep in mind I am not trying to shave seconds at the track and car is still plenty fast for me. This system did not cost much and sounds very nice.

Here is mine, I used the Camaro Dynomax turbo full length. 2.5" mandrel bent pipe all the way.

I took the trunk out and replaced it with flat sheetmetal, no big loss and much easier to fit the exhaust in.

I had a 3.1 turbo, with two of those flow thru cherry bombs, and that thing was loud. They say the turbo counts for about 1/3 muffler, but those cherry bombs did little to little. Once the engine warmed up the idle was not that bad, but after about 3k rpms its was just too loud. You need a mufler, but a CAT!!!! No way!!

for those tight bends you can also use what is called a donut.
