Okay, I had a problem with the boots slipping off, even when the hose clamps were tightened down... So I used a pair of vice grips to put "tabs" on each runner (see arrows)

Maybe, maybe not. Depends on what you're comparing it to. But going to ITB will make any lope that was there better. I don't think a common plenum will change too much...

Vroom vroom!! Nothing like brushed stainless!

Throttle bodies are spaced. Manifolds are done. Shown here is the N* stainless fuel rail. What I may end up doing is cutting it at the crossover and extending it with stainless braided line so that it can bend at the angles the injectors need...

How much closer can you get the inlet sides of the TB's? Right now you have an abrupt bend where the TB mates to the tube. Have you thought about cutting off the ends of the tubes square and leaning the TB's inward?

That would also get the injector angles closer to stock for the stock fuel rail.

I have two sets of '98-'99 GSXR 750 throttles (bigger blades than the 'Busa throttles ) that are spaced out to the Northstar port spacing with modified linkages. I'm going to see if I can get the Suzuki injector bungs to approximate GM's injector targeting. That may take a little fancy work with the adapters.

It's not really an abrupt bend at 20 degrees... I'm not too concerned about it. But I'll see how it goes when I install them.

About the injector angles - I haven't read much information regarding what is ideal. I know for horsepower you want maximum atomization and evaporation, which points to injectors at the outer end of the runners... For throttle response you want the opposite. It seems to me that anything *other* than 90 degrees perpendicular to airflow should be just fine... the only thing I can think of is maybe some fuel condensation at the runner walls leading to higher emissions and/or incomplete burn, but...............

Left is the "stock" angle, right is parallel to the runner.

Okay, I just bought some aluminum valve covers from an SBC with no accessory holes for $50... Should work just fine with an aluminum baseplate for my dual plenum design...... They're 20" long, and 3.75" high. I plan on welding in some 2.5" (?) pipe nipples and porting them to some cone air filters in my side scoop(s).

Yeah, in the picture the stock plastic intake is still there. The whole assembly will be about 6" lower. Going from memory, my intake is ~6.5 inches tall. Add the 3.75" dual plenums, and you have ~10" tall. I have 11.5" from the heads before I hit the decklid. I will obviously confirm all this once I take off the stock intake. Unfortunately my BMW decided to take a s*** once again, so the fiero came to the rescue.

Would ITB's net any real benefit on a turbo car? I know the Nissan RB26DETT and such are turbo ITB engines, but is there any reason why you'd want them on like a turbo Northstar, for example?

This is an air metering block from a 90's GM 3.1L. This is what I'll be using instead of the northstar IAC. Trim at dotted line.

This handy aluminum box is what I'll be using for the vacuum reservoir. the IAC metering block will mount to it, along with a nipple for the FPR, the brake booster, MAP sensor and 16 lines from the throttle bodies.
