Oh yeah, I do have a few, not sure if they are dot matrix or not.
I rarely listen to CDs anymore, but I never listen to uncompressed Digital Audio CDs. That format is nearly as ancient as the Fiero. I wouldn't waste my time installing one. I have a 90s cassette deck in my GT at least I can use the cassette adapter for the satellite radio/MP3 player.

Can anybody that has done this install tell me where they got the 'B12' 'Park' signal? Do the two little ash tray light leads dim with the dash, or are they a source for a 'Park' signal?

My Vibe radio has a small red LED blinking on and off. I had a few pages of the Vibe owners manual and the light is for 'Anti-Theft'. If the light is blinking is says "The Radio has a theft deterrent feature. The red light blinks while the engine is off to indicates the radio is protected. It will not operate if it is installed in a different vehicle"
Anybody know how to turn this off? So much for Delco's Theft Deterrent feature. This radio works great in my car. I just hate the blinking red light.
I spent two hours on the net trying to find a way to turn off this light. Struck out on finding an the answer.

I haven't yet, but I am planning on it pretty soon. I have to trim the little black plastic stuff right behind the faceplate. I am about 3/8" from going in all the way. This radio works great. I listen to it in the garage while I am working on my 4.9 swap.

The blinking light is a pseudo-theft deterrent system. There isn't a way to turn it off. When the radios were dumbed down to work in a rebadged Toyota, the Theftlock was removed...the blinking light remains.
The fix: black electrical tape.

Here ya go. I am gonna have to take this back out of the car. There is a piece if cabin wiring harness behind this radio about one inch around. The radio connector is up against it. This is what is keeping the radio from seating all of the way. I am gonna just un wrap it so it will flatten out a bit. I am just about 3/16 inch from going in all the way. I did trim out the faceplate this afternoon.
To trim out the top of the radio opening, I clamped the face plate to a work bench and just used a flat file and a round file on it. Black side up. I just pulled it back and forth and cut off the plastic a cut at a time. I used the round file in the corners. I cut it down until I was against he divider on the underside of the face plate. It took about 15 min's to trim it out. I took it and put it on the car three times as I was trimming. I didn't want to cut to much out. Looks good, and works good now.
