Hi guys I am getting a gt verry soon and it does not have tail lights so since I have a ton of extra C3 tail light sets laying around I would like to use one of the tail light panels that I see offerd by companys like Pisa.
What my question is are these panels just a outside panel? how do they mount in the place of the original two lights? can anybody show me how they are mounted so I have an idea how I go about mounting them before I purchace a panel
and wich panel is the best fitting??? ive looked at the diffrent sites and in the archives but no one shows the mounting only the finished product Far as I see.
Can anybody show me a few pics of the back side of the panel hangin their w lights installed???? it will be how I decide wich to buy.

For price, quality, and ease of install, Ken Hines has the best panel. He shows it mounted and detailed pics of it not mounted.

www.kahines.com

See his Euro tailight panel

Edit to add.....He sells multiple types. Make sure to order the one for Corvette lights.

I looked at his and they are one of the three I have conciderd but how exactly do they mount? do I need the back part of the original lenzes as a mount? or do they have a new mount system? this is the question I have what holds them on? before I choose I want to basically know everything about them because if its just a flat panel I can easily make my own with all the stuff I have here for my corvette builds.

If you order the vette panel, I believe they have mounting holes....don't they?....or do the vette lenses have a rear bracket?

Notice the mounting tabs?
