I'm not sure if you can get just the bushings, but you can get the whole enchilada with polyurethane bushings at the Fiero Store for $50 here: www.fierostore.com/Product/Browse.aspx?d=318&p=1 if you prefer OEM with rubber bushings, then they offer them too at $105. Keep in mind the hyperlink is for '85-'86 but according to the website, they're the same part number for '87 and '88 too.
I've thought about trying these also. Might have to trim them to fit but for the price $0.56 (rockauto) worth a try. I picked up a dozen to use for building custom motor and transmission mounts.
Don't the Urathane bushings "transfer" the Engine Vibrations to the body More than the rubber ? Thats the only reason I Haven't used them. I don't want to "feel" the RPMs in the Seat. Am I wrong in thinking this ?

The transfer of vibration was on my mind. The last V-8 fiero I had had hard bushings all the way around and I could tell it. This V-6 runs good enough for an old guy like me and I like the comfort.

Kit who or where is Anchor? Always looking for good deals on parts... Just found that www.familycar.com has a new OEM type dog bone with rubber bushings for $16.77. It is a Westar torque arm mount #WSEM2761 if any one else wants one.
Don't be suprised when the DB shows up and it is for the 4 banger....I tried several times to order a V-6 DB and the wrong one would always show up even though it was listed correctly..Maybe they finally started remaking them and getting it right..but from looking at the listing on the autpparts page it will be the wrong one....

I agree with Mstangs........ Ordered several for the V6 only to receive the Duke DB. There are 2 differnt V6 DB's too. Some are "tapered" and the poly bushings will not work without hogging out the inside of the DB. Best bet is to get a Poly setup from Fiero Store or Rodney Dickman.

If you go with a polyurethane dogbone, then IMO you need to have poly mounts too. Otherwise your transmission and engine mounts will have additional stress and wear out quicker.
Polyurethane is an all or nothing deal.

The replacement poly bushings will drop right into your 85 or 86 V-6 dog-bone. They will not drop into your 87 or 88 V-6 dog-bone since GM switched to an internal rib in the dog-bone. I simply bored out my 87 dog-bone to accept the The Fiero Store Prothane bushings, part # 52897 about $20 bucks, problem solved, worked just fine, didn't notice any increase in vibration. Don't forget to mention that you're a member of PFF, the Fiero Store will give you 10% on most non-GM parts.

If you have an 86 then it's a straight forward bushing replacement, just pop one out and put the other right in. Now if you have an 87 (or 88 bone), like I had, I used a 44MM hole saw and a drill.
The black dog bone is nice. If I do this again, I would be tempted to paint it clear so I won't have to deal with the aluminium tarnish. Oh yeah, nice trunk shelf, that matches your beachwood interior, doesn't it?

would a dremel and a grinding bit do the job? my drill is really crappy I will see if my dad has a hole saw that size too he has a nice makita drill i could use
but if i can i would like to use the dremel to do this since ive got it here
