I dont have my old Fiero C500 connector and so I am going to have to hack the female connector on the car. (Unless someone has one of on hand they are willing to sale me.) Anyway, I unbolted it and popped off the cover and it is covered in tar. I can't find labels on the pins. Do someone have a picture of what pin does what, so I can easily locate what wires do what.

(Just more and more 3800 wiring questions.)

Thanks in advance

The labels IIRC are on the side. A-E & 1-5. Might have to scrape off some of the tar but they should be there. Good luck.

Just did my '88. The one from Darth's site was right, except that on my '88 duke auto harness the tach wire was a black w/ white stripe (close as I can tell with the aging).

I haven't plugged it in yet, so if anybody knows this to be wrong, please let me know asap.

Note: C500 is not always the same pin-out from year to year... Make sure the wires is right circuit.

See 86SM page 8A-202-3 and/or 88SM page 8A-202-1
and see cave... terminal access

Thanks Orge,

I did check.. It definitely looks like C500-C3 is still the tach pin, just different colors on '88 L4 VIN R.
