I'm using the 1.6 roller rockers on the stock cam if thats any help. Plenty of room with the stock valve covers. 2.8 Spoon ------------------ Two yeast spent their entire life "about 2 days" discussing what the purpose of life could be and not once did they even come close to the fact that they were making champagne. Just out of curiosity, how does this mod do in the seat of the pants meter? Do you get a considerable power increase, does it make the engine sound like you have a cam? Just curious? peace

I'm using Edelbrock valve covers with them and I haven't tried the Fiero valve covers.
I am using ARP conversion studs.

Kool! So it is a proven fact that they will clear with the Edelbrock covers? I have a set of full roller also but the only thing stopping me is the valve cover clearance issue. Let me know please.
Yes the Edelbrock covers clear the roller rockers. I spoke to Edelbrock and they advise this. With those 60degreev6 covers, silicon the gasket to the cover. Let it set hard but on a flat surface. Seat the valve cover and finger tighten 1/2 turn past initial seating.

These are the 1.6 roller rockers, Crane Cams, that I have and they worked out with stock covers. I LIKE EM!
This is what the vendor said about them pretty much.......
"Stock stamped rocker ratios can vary from 1.46 to 1.50. These Crane Cams Gold series roller rockers are 1.60 ratio for increase valve lift. With the increased lift and the friction reduction from these full roller rockers, horsepower will increase and the engine will rev quicker. These rockers have a narrow body (not self-aligning) for valve cover clearance. The special 10mm x 1.50 bottom x 3/8" x 24 top rocker arm studs are included so no machining is required to the heads".
