We were in Yellowstone last week, and as we were walking toward Mammoth Hot Springs, out of the corner of my eye I noticed a strange 3-wheeled motorcycle in the parking lot. What first caught my attention (I was on the sidewalk on the front side of the bike), was that the back wheel looked like a Fiero factory rim. Why would I notice this? because I worked for GM back in the Fiero days, and I have a close association with the Fiero during prototype and production. I had been to the Fiero plant many times, as well as the GM proving grounds.

I didn't get to meet the dude, but the plate was from British Columbia - so at least you know it was reliable enough to drive! What fun.

BTW - since he cut it in half, he would have to put the gas tank somewhere else - but where?

The square box under the pax seat? I would think the trunk would be used for storage since there is no where else to store anything.

Welcome aboard!

BTW, those rims are not stock on a Fiero, but they came on a Grand Am.

This very unusual creation probably has the radiator iin the trunk (but how does it cool there without an air supply? ) and the fuel tank under the seat. Who would want such a contraption.? It is neither a motorcycle or a car and will certainly handle poorly.

I think these are sooo ugly. Sorry if this is yours or you built one like this

Even worse

There are soo many of these bad things out there (note the "hood" with the headlight holes still in it.

Here is the same "mistake" in VW format

Here is how I think it should be done in VW format

One of the "best" Fiero trikes I have seen in pics

And if you really want to do something that could be cool take your queue's from this

Yes use the Fiero power plant, but make it look like you want it to, not like the only two tools you know how to use are a sawzall and a welder.

Just imagine how NASTY LuckyFast Eddie's hot rod would look if it had a Fiero trunk grafted to the back of the supercool body.

I think that one in particular is ugly, but I love the idea of a mid engined car turned into a trike. And I love that first VW one!!!
