When I did my 4.9 swap a tablespoon of gas would let it run about 3 seconds. I am guessing that you mean it fires off and runs with thte starting fluid?

it fires and stays running aslong as its being sprayed w/ starting fluid...
i have injector pulses, spark, and compression is good, it doesnt even attempt to catch w/o starting fluid...

i pinched off the return line, and still only getting max 25psi to the rail, im pretty certain the pumps shot..

Just a couple suggestions before buying a new pump.

i work for a parts store, getting a pump isnt gona be a bank breaker, if i have to drop the tank, ill replace the pump either way, ill have to check the voltage tonight, im getting good power everywhere else i tested, havent checked going ot the pump tho.

exhaust... then just small stuff, tune (have the dhp tuner), need to bleed out the clutch, change the rear brakes (maybe the front too), and tidy some stuff up to look clean lol, other then that, i think im just about @ driving point.

yea, i had some major issues with the first motor, had to "restart" the swap per say... words of advice, if it comes with a warranty, put it in before thats past, if it doesnt, crack it open and inspect it.

take 2 thread here:

thanks for the link to ur other thread. i work at a junkyard and pulled this motor myself after i had it running and compression tested it. when it was running there was no check engine lights or anything. also the engine was ony $50. and had 30k miles on it. i have all the parts that u listed on the first page of this thread. so other than a wiring harness do i have everything that i need to get this to run? sorry to hear about the issue with ur motor.
