Aurora V8?? well hell, i skipped over about 4 of those at pull a part last week. i dont see the adapter offered on there.
You will need to call or email him and ask about it. He told me last week there had been some delays at the machine shop he deals with so I don't know how long it will take to get one made...

I have only used 00+ tb's, and they are a direct fit for V6 throttle cables, as well as being very compact. I used a normal northstar adapter, and I believe it does work with the previous year throttle bodies.
I make my tb adapters to locate the throttlebody where i want it to be usually. They look something like this.

ok, got a harness from a 99 bonnie 3800. 20 bux. good find or a waste of 20 bux? found a aurora v8. 97. didnt have the correct torx bit to take it off. looked like a T40...?
since i seem to be getting so many PM's about my hitch, ill answer right here... i do not know where it came from, but it looks like The Fiero Store one. perfect for jacking the car, lifting the car and resting it on jackstands. 84-88 TRAILER HITCH

I have used a H-body harness, it works but I like the w-body harnesses better.
I think the 99's used the square EV1 connectors for the injectors, but you may have to change them out.

taking a closer look at all my rubbers, theyre not as bad as compared to most others ive seen, i should replace them. i might as well replace them now while its easier access to them in some areas. ive been looking at the polyurethane kits. summit has a good one for 97. so theres something else to add to the mix. i keep finding neat things to do to set me back on all this. this is so much fun lol.

That is usually how it goes. It starts off with, oh, I will do this. Then, oh, I will do that. The next thing you know, you are sleeping on the couch, sucking down Ramen noodles wondering wtf just happened. Stay strong, you will get there.

also, what place could i get the cheapest poly engine/trans mounts that ships when you order it and not a few weeks later?
That clutch seems a bit tame for a 3800sc torque monster. Might be good for a stock L32 but will probably slip with a modded motor. I would atleast get the 2X Red pressure plate with that disk. I run their sprung hub 6 puck and 2x red pressure plate on my 3500T. The pedal is a little heavy but it grabs and holds like a mofo. I actually went with the Cavalier setup (8 7/8) for a lighter disk for faster shifts. Holds just fine.

good points. guess ill go for a hardcore wild setup since i am going to do a lot to the motor. ill look into stepping it up. im just worried about it not being streetable and having to roast the tires leaving every stop light.

I am stuck out here in the middle of the ocean, and I dont think I'll be getting back into the fiero scene for some time. I am into the Y-body gig, and I love my LT-4.
With that said, I still have that 3500 sitting around...
anyways, back on topic...
Mike,
What about the headers man! those are crucial!
What did u decide with the a/c? Got the wiring for the fiero stuff so u can manipulate the 3800's compressor?
Have you considered the changes that need to be made when relocating a MAF? and bends, curves or distance changes from the TB will change the how the MAF reads as compared to stock. You need to try to make it compareable to what was used for the PCM you are using. Otherwise the results could be problematic during tuning and WOT. I know this isnt mentioned much around here, but its something I wish more people would look at.
What about the air filter and inlet tube? What are your plans there?
What pulley are you going to run?
Are you considering an aftercooler?
Later dood

headers i will probably get some v6 pusstang headers and modify those to follow the fiero flow path. or build my own when i have a real garage and not this apartment one car shtuff.
for the ac, i will use a zzp delete pulley till i get around to doing the ac.
all the MAF stuff will be taken care of (im assuming) when i order a PCM from darth.
the air filter and tube, i am gonna use that CRX 3" intake pipe i had on the 3500.
the pulley i have is a 3.4 from zzp. if i start seeing knock running on some 93, ill go to a 3.5. im sure i can run a 3.4 with a CAI and some headers and 93 or higher.
not gonna do an aftercooler. im gonna turbo this motor, so no need wasting money on more supercharger mods.
btw, you dont have that 3500 sitting around. i do. in the corner of my garage. waiting for you to fix it and toss it on a go kart frame. or a put it in a motorcycle frame.

made some headshields for the coil-on-plug conversion. just need to finish the wiring and repair the firewall then i can toss er in, hook up the coolant lines, plug all the wires n stuff in and see what doesnt work haha. really need this 100+ degree heat to go away for a minute. my garage reaches 113

Yeah. I haven't been able to get much done on my swap either, due to the heat. Hopefully will get the trans bell housing cut, and the short block back together soon though.

So I scrapped the coil on plug idea. After test fitting the engine, the heatshields were taking up too much room and the front side coils would have way too much recirculating heat and the ending result would be failed coils. Too much to go thru on a car im going to daily drive.
Built my harness and loomed it with the expandable sleeving and weather sealed heatshrink tubing. Gotta finish the on car wiring such as the C500 and the C203 once its in the car.
I have new parking brake cables, shift/select cables and throttle cable that still need to be installed. Along with the oil tube/dipstick mod everyone will see shorty.
