Just wondering if anybody recognizes the make of this whaletail type wing.
Found it on a fiero in a JY,picked it up for cheap just cause.
Took my GT wing off to respray, now that it's been sprayed I like it better without it.
Thinking of spraying this one real quick though and bolting it up to see what it looks like.
Anybody got any idea on make or anything?

Sprayed it with black krylon, figured I would bolt it up for the day and see if I like it.
Hole's spread wayy furthur apart though and quite a bit farther back.
This came off a notchback lid,but I'm thinking it fits the GT curve pretty well.
No time to mess with it now,but need some opinions on if I should drill some holes or not.
I think it looks worth trying for a few days. Already have to fill some holes in the lid, what's a couple more?

Looks nice. However, it looks like it could come in contact with the fastback clip once it's bolted down. I'm willing to buy it if you're willing to sell it.

remove the mounting studs and tape it on for a better look of how it will fit/ look on car.

Technically, that's not a whale tail (it's a "wing"). A whale tail doesn't have risers.
But I like it. It's amazing how well it fits the curve of the decklid. One problem you might have is the studs hitting something under the lid once it's bolted down. You also may have a problem accessing the studs to put nuts on them. Just something to check before drilling holes.
Look for any writing or numbers on the bottom of the risers. May give you a clue what it's off of.

Studs don't come out, look fiberglassed in place.
Would be easier to drill and repair holes.
My buddy and I meant to do just that, even measured and marked for holes the other day.
Unfortunately all my drill bits were at work, and the ones I had at home shop were nowhere near needed size.
Put it on hold for now, still want to mount it maybe sometime though.
If I could get $150 out of it or a decent trade for something I might just forget the whole idea.
Last thing I need is something else to mess with.
