I bought a car that has had the 7730 ECM conversion done but they really did a shotty job mounting the computer. They hacked part of the skeleton up and velcroed it to the metal under the armrest. I have a perfect counsel skeleton that I am planning on installing and I am trying to put the car back together the RIGHT way. I think I read on here somewhere that an 87/88 4 cylinder ECM bracket will work, are those the only year 4 cylinder tray that fits??

You can also hack up a V6 tray and make room for the wires to exit it.

I was mainly wondering if it was all 4 cylinder cars that have a bracket like that or only the 87/88's? The junkyards in my area don't have any 87/88 4 cylinders so I don't want to make a special trip out there for nothing.

Thanks phonedawgz, I posted a WTB add in the mall for one, hopefully someone can hook me up for a decent price, because I would rather do it that way. If not I guess I will be cutting my V6 one up.

Yes, the ECM tray specifically has to come from an '87 or '88 Fiero with a 4-cyl.

Somehow I ended up with way too much wire on the right side and my console cover doesn't seem to mount right...
