Here's my issue with the spindle.
You can see at the #1, is where I have interference. The bolt needs to be threaded in the direction of the arrow. I threaded it the opposite direction and used a nut just for trial fitting.
You can see at #3 how much excess space I have for the inboard pad. I need to add more spacers at #2. But how much is too much for spacing?
I found some allen head screws shown below that are the right thread and should work.
I'll get more pics of the spindles off the car too. I couldn't find anyone running these spindles with big brakes. Or at all for that matter. Not by searching.

I have the Held suspension and drop spindles on one of my fieros with their Wilwood brakes, so I am familiar with the spindles.
My other fiero has the LeBaron/cadillac swap. The spacer is supposed to be about 7/16 inch at your #2 spot.
You can get the spacer at your local hardware store. They are the 1/2"ID x 1" OD x 7/16"

you can see them in this picture of my test fitting.

your spindle is more like a stock type. Where as mine uses a rear wheel bearing that's bolted to the spindle itself.

It's hard to tell, but the stock bolt isn't sitting straight enough to thread into the spindle if there wasn't interference.
If I use a bolt short enough that I can thread in, by the time the bracket is spaced out enough, I don't have enough of the bolt threaded into the spindle that I'm comfortable with it holding. Make sense?

How about a Torx bolt....would the head be small enough?

That's what I would do, If I could get them. I'm in Germany.

I found some allen head bolts(generic pic above) through fastenal. But I don't want to order them, wait 2 weeks, then find out they don't work. Really I just don't want to wait.

Mostly, I wanted to know if anyone else was running these spindles. I can't find anything in a search.

Grind away enough of the Held / HT Spindle flange (where the bearing is mounted) to let the bolt work.
Where your circle is in this photo. It will not effect anything other than allowing you to put the bolt in. Touch up the bare metal with paint to prevent rust.

One of my two fiero's has the held suspension system and wilwood brakes. The other has the brakes you are putting on with stock spindles. I am familiar with both systems.

Did you inform Held / HT Motorsports that you were using those brakes before you bought the spindles, or was the brake upgrade not decided upon til later?

Maybe you could drill out the threads and run the bolt through backwards with a nut?

(No Torx in Germany?....hummmmm)

I'll probably just grind on the spindle. I just wanted to see if anyone else was running these that might have another fix before I started cutting.

I picked them up on Egay last year.

Thanks for the input.
