i thought of stepping it up to the later year C4's... that wasa long time ago. then i had a c5 cluster but flipped my C4. O_O dont exceed the physical properties your tires can withstand. the other resulting force (gravity&momentum) always win. and does not feel good.

The cavalier isn't that hard to do. Just make sure you test them before you buy them. I got two that won't work...selling cheap! I've also got a 90 buick riviera digital dash that's pretty neat looking. I'm going to try to make it work with the 4.9 computer and BCM when I finish the swap. Kinda low on the project list right now and from what I have read, not an easy swap.

I really like a digital dash that would have the rpms go up and down like a v shape airplane cockpit multi-color don't really care for the curve rpms too much. I am sure someone can make one circuit board like it

I am sure that someone can, but how much are you willing to pay just to have that unique look? Talk to Tom, he made his digital gauges from scratch. All the others are modified and I doubt you can go too far with something like that...

Laid out much like the Fiero dash....or so it seems.....
I have considered it and actually started to do this about 8 years ago, but it got shelved due to other things going on and I never got back to it. The plan was to use the core displays (rearranged to fit) in the confines of the Fiero housing (this of course meant losing the odometer display since it is so huge). A big problem with the TA dash is the depth needed since the displays are backlit - although that part can be somewhat solved with the technology available today - then you just have to deal with the issue of the circuit boards for each of the displays.
I have considered digging out out and working on it again, but I have to get some other 'projects' out of the way first (and so far that is not working out too well).

Just picked up a WORKING cavalier digital dash at PicknPull for $37. I guess third ones the charm! Of course I could still kill it in the process of installation. Lets hope for the best. The odometer reads 187K miles...thats like 289 thousand Kilometers! Anyone know how to reset or adjust this. When it powers up it kinda sounds like those ghostbuster backpacks. Hope the sound isnt too loud in such a small cockpit!
