Ok, I have a 3800 SC I swap with a 4T40 (auto OD) already. Trans and axles came from donor 88 Cutlass w/ 3.8 and OD with the standard brakes so the axles (both drivers and pass. side) from the cutlass dropped right in. I am planning to swap to a 4T60-E (non-HD) and I know the "E" is longer on the pass side. What axle do I need for the pass side?

You use a driver side manual transmission axle.

Since I already have the drivers side axle for the OD style, it should work going from the 4T40 to the 4T60-E right? So you're saying use a stock Fiero manual drivers side axle on the pass side right?

I am using a MegaSquirt ECM built by a friend that I bought my driveline from and it wasnt set-up with the trans controller function. My dad has a 4T60E and SBC V8... using a TCI trans controller

We are currently having some issues getting it to work right and we just recently found the root of it all, wrong software version. So in the mean time we are using this until we fully sort out all the issues.

After having wired up this thing we figured out how to by-pass that problem
Hot wired the shift soleniods and TCC lock-up to toggle switches. The top switch is TCC lock-up, the 2 bottom switches (one for each soleniod). Both switches up is 1st, first switch down is 2nd, both switches down is 3rd, and first switch up and second down is 4th.

As you can see here, I already have the driver side axle with the 4T40 OD.

And here is the pass side axle from the 4T40.

All on this

You could always use the 16141470 ECM to control both the engine and transmission.
