The area of the dash over the center vents is quite bowed. It appears a previous owner tried to glue it down but it just came back up again. Is there a GOOD way to fix this short of replacing the entire dash?
On another note, is there a good quality seat cover available for the '85 GT? My driver's side seat is looking its age.

Click the search tab in the upper right, type in seat covers, hit enter, and behold the glory of the almighty interweb!

Thanks, I found quite a few options, but of course the best looking one is http://mrmikes.com/fierohome.htm. They have got some sweet looking seats available, and from the comments it seems they're top notch. I promised myself when I bought this car I wouldn't go nuts on it, but what the heck, promises were made to be broken

The radio surround is separate from the dash and is easy to remove.
Re-glueing is the way to fix it, but using the proper glue is key.
People have had good success with polyurethane glue - I've used Gorilla Glue.

So, Netcam any chance we can see some pics of your car? Not just the seat and dash?

Here are a couple of pics, and I guess they're a lot more telling than the dash and seat

use gorilla glue and binder clips but put a chunk off something under the clip or it wil leave dents remember a dab will do ya with the glue btw if you get a dent or something run something under the cover and push up while apply heat from an iron with steam on and a cloth uner it
