Popular OEM diesel turbos are, smaller to bigger, Holset HX35 7 blade, HX40 6 blade, He351, HX52... 400-700hp

Aftermarket larger compressor wheels are available for the HX40 and He351 too.

You're implicitly talking about a twin screw supercharger in this context. Constant blower drive ratio means constant airflow between the two systems. The improvement in power comes from a reduction in waste heat from the blower, reduction in blower drive power (meaning power that formerly drove the blower is now available at the flywheel) and concurrent lower intake temps and denser intake charge.

If the engine has a wastegated turbo regulated at 9 psi and you install ported heads, the engine will still have 9 psi of boost, but will make more power.

Boost=Positive Manifold Pressure... period..

Without changing the cam or turbo, peak power might move a couple hundred RPM, but won't move much.
