I have a 2005 GTP SC3 with the N* throttle kit from ZZP, modified pacesetter headers, a 4th gen Fbody Corsa muffler and the BBV delete... Why can't I hear the supercharger?? I should be able to hear it through the exhaust noise... Shouldn't I?

I have a 2006 Series III SC from a 2006 GTP and can hear my supercharger (even with extra noise insulation). Is your belt still connected and does the SC spin freely?

It depends a LOT on your set-up. Even on the funny car, there are times the blower is seemingly silent (over the exhaust). I do know that the volume of the blower whine seems to depend on which blower we use. It the nylon strips are new, it is a LOT louder... Maybe it is just the design of your blower?
You deleted the boost bypass actuator; did you position the butterfly inside the SC in the closed position? If its always open, you would not be building PSI inside the sc and thus not hear anything...

There is no whine at idle or cruise. Whine starts when it goes into boost with your foot in it.

I had a GP with a gen 3, 3.4", tune, headers and full exhaust, rockers, and 42.5lb injectors. My charger was also pretty silent, at WOT you could barely hear it (my exhaust was extremely loud though). However when I got a video of it at WOT, the camera picked the sound up much more clearly.

I guess it's working...? I can't get the sunbird boost-tacho installed till I can get a trim-pot.
Right now I have a cone filter on the end of the MAF.
The whine on my S/c was much more noticeable until I did what you've done. Putting the cone just off the throttle body quieted it down substantially. I miss the whine and will be going back to an air inlet with the cone in the drivers side wheel well. I think it must be the air rushing through the pipe that makes that nice whining sound.
The SC'r spins freely and the belt is routed correctly. That is a new belt as well.
My exhaust could be droning the whine out a lot, that's what I'm thinking anyways. It is extremely loud under WOT. Watch some Corvette and F-body Corsa videos and you'll hear how loud these things are.
Also to add, the only time I have ever heard it is when I revved it to redline and cut the ignition and held the throttle open. It was very loud then. That was open header. The Corsa is just as loud at WOT.

I started out with a series II SC motor and it really had a whine when you stepped on it. After a couple of hundred miles this motor went bye bye and I then installed a Series III motor with the Gen 5 Super Charger. The Gen 5 Super Charger is a whole lot quieter than the Gen 3 Super Charger was. I would assume that it has to do with the internals of the Super Charger. If you ever get a chance to look inside of one side by side you will note that the Gen 5 is much more open than even the best port job on a Gen 3.

'cause it's drinking vodka, not wine? Cuz it's not a whiney lil beeyatch? Cause you need to turn your hearing aid up? Cuz you ain't got no supercharger to begin with? Take your pick.

That is odd the Gen V is usually much louder than the Gen 3...

I have a Gen 5 blower on mine, and it is a bit louder than the stock Gen 3 that came on the engine. I am also running a 3.2 pulley and the BBV is deleted on my engine. At idle and casual cruising it cannot be heard. When I mash on the gas pedal, it really whines - and is very audible over the exhaust. I have a Flowmaster 80 set up for the exhaust.
