On the 2.8, when putting the upper plenum back on, I heard there is a very specific torque order in which the 10mm 12 point bolts must be torqued. What is the torque setting, and what is the order?

The service manual doesn't list a torque spec in the procedure section but lists "intake manifold m8x1.25 20-25 ft lbs" in the spec section at the end of the engine chapter.

as a basic rule for torqing:
start in middle, and work outwards. you'll see the same pattern as above everywhere.
I also usually do it in steps in 10-15# increments. tho - in this case, with the alum - got pretty light torque to start with.

Guys...read the info. The upper plenum is 19ft/lbs, middle is 15ft/lbs and lower is 19ft/lbs.

The sequence for tightening for the top (plenum) is clearly pictured on the right upper copied print. Follow that...
