This would solve much of your engine height issues... I'm not even remotely an expert, but it seems like the intake runners don't really serve much use when you're using a supercharger anyway. Just a thought!

thats been an issue with 2.8's and superchargers, a custom lower manifold would need to be designed and have a custom fuel rail, or somehow use the existing one that sits below the upper plenum. without redesigning the whole lower/middle section, the only thing he could have done would be to cut a hole in the top of the plenium. from what i understand 'tuning' would be easier if he did that, as he is using a roots style charger in a centrifugal setup (TB After the charger), i also am no "expert" ont his, but i did ALOT of research when i was wanting to put an M90 on my 3500 LX9.

We've been through this before... and I researched this carefully in 2003 before I decided to install a Vortech centrifugal S/C instead.

The 60 degree V6 is so narrow between the heads that the S/C takes up the entire space when you try to mount it directly to the lower manifold - there's no room left for fuel rails on both sides.

The only other option I thought may work would be a "side-draft TBI" mounted on the input end of the S/C, THEN mount it to blow down into the lower intake.

EDIT: it seems there's no such thing as a "side-draft" TBI. BUT you can mount a TBI sideways (who knew?).
So mounting a 2-injector TBI on the end and having the fuel blow through the S/C would keep everything low.

Here a fellow changed a side-draft carb engine to side mounted TBI (used a GM 2.5 TBI unit to boot) and running it with Megasquirt.

Hey I was on gearhead, and I was able to locate the 1226869 $24A .bin and .xdf files but they don't have the .adl and .xdf files. Would you happen to have them or would know where else I can look?

Nevermind I found them!

Did 2 datalog sessions at idle. I would've done one long one but for some reason DA got disconnected and started throwing error codes. I have the files if anyone wants to look over them

because others are interested in doing things like this, but dont want the chargers sticking threw the decklid...

instead of getting upset that people are discussing your mods and giving you help, you should be be glad people are interested in it.
