It means "proud" in Italian. We had a big long discussion about this some time ago.. I'll try to dig up the thread..

Looked it up in a Spanish dictionary awhile back. It means "Wild" or Feral", another meaning:"mishapen".

I've got several friends from South America, who say that in the languages there, the word "Fiero" is used to describe a "sly, fox-like creature" or as an adjective; "swift"
Pretty sure the Designers wanted it to be "proud" - but I'm grooving on the Brazilian meaning!! Swift, sly, fox!
