this guy says it's a 3.6 porsche engine and tranny on a Rayne tube frome with the rest of the car a Fiero...the dash sure was fiero... (stock painted with WEAK lookin' Krylon) but he had dyno sheets.. (347hp, w/nitrous 511hp!) no time slips though.. kinda strange...

i'm not sure what he was trying to do... but he had an air filter in the intake hole under the scoop above the roof??!?! but it wasn't hooked to anything... just venting into the engine bay...
How did he get his interior to become Yellow? I really like the way that it looks. Is there any way that I could get me interior to look red like his was yellow??
Thanks Ken

he used vinyl die from a auto paint store.. and yeah yours will be just as bight... but it doen't flack off wash off or any other kind of off... it bonds with the plastic! so do the back of the dash first to make sure you like it!

I have seen that Fiero in Sport Compact Car before. That interior looks cheesy. I would get a kit if I was serious about showing. If I was rich I would buy a Formula, drop in a Northstar or SBC, buy the IMSA body kit, big rims, and paint it white like Archie did with the "white ghost". I would love to see the look on all those ricers faces!!

I think somethings on that car look good but others dont't. For example, yellow interior looks great with black, and only black. Yellow and Grey? Uck! Nice steering wheel though

yeah i was wondering about that yellow dash. i really like the way it looks and i was think about painting mine. If i did do this i would probably want to pull out the dash correct? And if i do have to pull the dash how hard is it to pull it out? thanks Luke
Tools you'll need: * 7mm & 10mm 1/4 sockets, extention and wrench * Phillips & flat head screwdrivers * A Torx bit screwdriver or socket for the dash pod cover
First, you'll need to remove the shift and radio consoles, a metal plate behind the radio console. The four console screws are located under the cigarette trays to get that started. Second, remove the dash pod cover and hood release lever. Next, carefully pull the speaker covers to uncover the screws that hold the upper part of the dash. Remove the speakers and disconnect them. Two screws are on the underside of the dash on the outside corners. That's about it, takes about 1 hour to do it the first time, about 30 minutes the second time around. Hope this helps...
thanks for the info HugGRRRFiero i think i might start to paint my interior over the weekend. i plan to paint the dash a bright blue. Im hoping it will look pretty sweet. Has anyone here painted there dash bright blue, if so can you post pics thanks. when i get the dash done ill try to get some pics posted. thanks again for all the info.
No problem. I never re-colored a dash before. Search the General Chat or Technical Questions for "dash" or similar keyword, you probably will find some more info in old threads.

Hi, What kind of kit (or mixture of kits) is the second one? I love the gullwing doors and the nose. My Delorean is jealous. Thanks, Michael Schaefer http://surf.to/fiero
One thing I would be concerned about painting my dash is glare. I would think that having a bright colored dash would cause unacceptable amounts of glare on the windshield. Especially if the dash was yellow. Any one experience this? I don't know what kind of kit that second car is but it is cool! Don't like the nose though.
