Wow thats nice. I really like the black top. I've seen the black top on a few notchbacks but never done to a fastback. The wing does look like a supra wing ! I think because the car has so many body mods it isnt that bad looking though.
The owner (*Kazumasa Okayama who is oriental BTW) is a really cool guy. I was parked next to him at Fierorama, and originally saw the car at the Dells run this year. He's got a beautiful V8 (LT1 I assume) as well as many other cool features like the complete wood grain interior, a-pilliar gauge pods, white face guages... leather seats(?) and just about every other dress-up item you can imagine! What an awsome car!
*Thanks Archie for his name

Fierorama was awesome! Got to meet many people. Went out for pizza with Dave and Archie the night before the show!! Here's another shot for everyone...
As far as blending the addon spoiler to the original GT spoiler,I imagine a body shop could easily glass them together, then paint.I have seen a bunch of them like this at Fiero shows. It looks kinda strange to me though, almost as if the car has a big chin or something.
I seem to recall a complete budget in excess of $40k. The paint is a high-metallic pearl off-white, he's also got (archie's?) a big-brake upgrade kit. The more time you spend up close to it, the more details you see!

I know he also imported the Wheels from Japan.
I haven't heard the $40K number but I'll bet it's close to that if you include all the previous engine work he has had done to the car.
He had a 3.1 in it, that wasn't enough, so he had a 3.4 put in it. The 3.4 was only enough power for a month or so and he was considering a 3.8 then decided to just put a V-8 in it and have it over with. Almost all of the work was farmed out so that $40K number would include everything you see plus 3 engine swaps and all the labor etc.
Very nice car, I just really don't like those wings. I think they are rice wings. But it looks like he just wanted to be different and I haven't seen any other Fieros with spoilers like that one.
The side mirror fairings look like the ones used on C4 Vettes. You should be able to get them from the dealer or some place like Ecklers or Mid-America. They attach to the mirror itself.

Don't mean to pick on you Minngreen but it's called the "Rich Warber" award. The best of show award was named that to honor a very good NIFE member that passed away. Besides being a drag racer for most of his life Rich was the owner of the purple chop top V8 that everyone would love to own. Again, no flames meant but I thought I should set the record straight as Rich was a real nice guy and is still missed by all who new him.

I've seen pics of this car here and there on the forum. I really really like it! I have a goal of making my car look pretty similar. I love the one piece side units, the spoiler, and the chin spoiler. I plan on using a stock spoiler with large stantions, and glassing the chin piece to look like one, but basically the same thing. I also want mine just a smidge lower, so the wheels are right at the fender lip. The V8 would be sweet, but I'm more of a turbo guy myself. Thanks for the pics, this car is a beauty.

when i get my chin spoiler i'll make it like the. BIG MOUTH fiero you know that cool blueish purple one. as for engine i'll probably end up going with 3.4 and add turbo later. that should put me up around 200 hp. and still have good gas milage. to bad you cant get 30 mpg out of a v8.

Dave- I apologize greatly for my mistake. I know some about Rich, and I've heard a tremendous amount about what a great person he was- and how much he is missed. I'm sorry I biffed the name (which has since been corrected). Thank you for pointing out my mistake- my intention was to show that a car this great was honored with the prestigous award in his memory.

Is that a Rear Strut Brace I see there in the bottom of the frame? IF so, was it custom for this application or can a guy buy one?
West Coast sells one, but even though they SAY it will fit any year Fiero WITH a 3.4L engine conversion, when I called them to order it, they said NO... It won't fit.
DKOV- Contact Darrell Morse in Minnesota... he makes & sells them direct (check under the link at the top of the page to "Fiero Parts Vendors" and scroll down until you get to Darrell Morse in Elk River). This is his work:
Darrell also does ported ThrottleBodies & Intakes for the V6 as well as custom parts when necessary. He's a real personable guy and great to deal with, so give him a call!

The rest of the car is phenomenal, but I cannot STAND that spoiler. It just doesn't look right, IMHO... Other than that, it's great. I *LOVE* the interior. Until now, I had never seen a wood fiero interior that I liked...
