Hey Archie. I think this is the guy you need to get a hold of for the cargo covers. http://ourworld-top.cs.com/fiero4ever1/myhomepage/business.html

I really liked it till I saw the interior. Since when does wood belong inside a car? I always thought that if the owner just had to have wood, he would get something like birdseye maple in his Lexus or MB or something like that. It doesn't look cheap, but I'm not sure what it is trying to say.

I really liked the steering wheel though. Futuristic but luxurious at the same time. Very nice.
You would probably need a five point safety harness and window nets to stay seated if he decided to play around with all 355 horses that V8 has!!

GTMike- well I don't know about 30mpg but a Northstar V8 gets 27-28 highway mpg, which is only slightly less than my stock 2.8!!

GTMike: There's a lot of controversy about Northstars and 5 speeds. Most of the Northstar Fieros now have the Caddy auto tranny but it weighs an extra 500 lbs over the getrag. I know some people are workin on the Northstar/5 speed and only time will tell whether it will be reliable enough...

Hi Lisa, indeed we'll see! Will and I are trying to be the first to bust a getrag!

Most of us trying to do the 5-speed Northstars are junking the Cadilac ECM entirely, and going to a fully aftermarket computer (http://www.chrfab.com look under "ignitions")

Though some are trying to severely modify the Caddy ECM too.

The engine gets 27 highway MPG in a 5,000lb caddy...

Might even be good for around 30 in a stickshift fiero, but I'll never drive it like that, I PROMISE!

I want a Pacer limo with Aerosmith inside.

Best!
Ben.

Hummm... I'm certainly no expert but I can't imagine that the difference between the Getrag and the Caddy auto is anywhere close to 500 lbs. A turbo-hydromatic 400 is a brute but is under 100 lbs. A transverse version is heaver still because of the integrated differential but still well under 200 lbs. Can anyone confirm the ACTUAL weight of the Caddy auto tranny?

Please note this is NO WAY intended as a slam or flame, I would just like clarification.

Hey Kaz, Welcome.

I've had a couple people ask me what Brand and model are your wheels. I know they were imported, but can't remember the details.

Can you tell us here?

Archie

Hey Kaz, you have a beautiful car! I know I'm not the only person wondering....where'd you get that wing? Is it custom, or is it from another car?
