There's nothing like driving your Fiero in a parade, throwing candy to the kids. This Saturday, Feb 9, Lone Star Fieros is again going to Lovelady TX to be in the Lovefest parade. Afterward there are lots of crafts booths to tempt your wallet, and funnelcakes to tempt your tastebuds. It's just a fun small-town thing. I went last year and enjoyed it. Here's some info from the LSF website...
"We have been asked to assemble at the Pizza Pro in Lovelady (highway 19, north of town, between 9:00 and 9:30 A.M. We will parade to the show area where the judging will take place. If you do not wish to enter the judging you can still participate in the parade so come go with us on our first cruise of 2002."
There were only five Fieros there last year. I'd sure like to see more this time. The nasty weather will move out of the area by then, so you have no excuse. Following are pics I took in 2001...

Chuck,

Is that trailer permanently attached to Ray's car? Everytime I see his car that trailer is right behind it!! Williamsburg, Louisville - that trailer gets around!!

No, but I did see him leave. Left a 20-foot strip of rubber! It was a beautiful car. Here's the other pic I have...

I know what you mean, it's in a lot of peoples' show pics! As you can see from the photo below, it does in fact detach from the car. It has a miniature Fiero wing on it now. Looks great. The license plate says "ME TOOO".

Where the hell IS lovelady??
Down by Houston? how do I get there? 290 from Austin?? 71 ???
If I get the fuel rail back on by then I will show up, but I DON"T KNOW WHERRE IT IS! ha ha

I just took a look at Lovelady, Tx. (off OSR, South of Crockett, right?)
