Hello my fiero friends all over the world, I am proud to present the newest taillight kit for notch back fieros. The prototype is still under construction. It is at 65 percent completed. So many people were talking about something new for their notch back fieros. The kit will bond to the deck lid. This new and unique product can be found only at The Fibersmith. Make no mistake, this is something that no one has offered before. And make no mistake, this is not a copy of competitors. You are witnessing my work skills. I'd rather be referred as an artist. Production of the kit is expecting to be out in a few months. Careful design is being made. To ensure correct curves that contours to the existing bumper of your car. I'd like to thank all my customers. Part of the money went into research and development of this project such as materials, tooling, equipment, and etc. Please continue to support www.thefibersmith.com There will be more creative art work and new inventions from The Fibersmith "Kalsmith Art Designs". Previous customers will get discount on products www.thefibersmith.com makes. I am here for you. Let me serve you all. Price on the kit is still being carefully considered. Once agian, thank you all for support. Next piece of art will be hood spoiler/ wing. Another project will be "Kalsmith Art Design" intra-greatest rocker panel scoops. Make no mistake, it will not be a copy of any one. It will be the newest thing for our fiero community. The Fibersmith products will stand alone. Everybody need's to really support Pat on his project's,as he is trying to make our Fiero's really stand out!! Steve
Pat, nice work man, looks like one heck of a project. One thing though from the pics, the lip that comes off the trailing edge looks kind of funny to me, maybe that will change when there is a spoiler on there. Is it possible to round the back edge kind of like what a GT would look like? Keep up the good work, im excited to see the integrated rocker scoops!

I must say though, they look great, certainly different, more than just a lens replacement. When he sent me those pics about a week ago, I started drooling and was in aww. Very slick.

I love the notchback more than the fastback( hehe)and these taillights will make even lookmore gorgeous. I love these the way they look now, no spoilers here. Pat, why dont you move over to the Netherlands? Lots of work here. ;-)
Great work Pat! Those look excellent. Can't wait to see a finished set. Is this going to be a bond-on project (it's obviously not a bolt-on piece without some major parts)?

Pat, I had to reformat my hardrive and lost your email address. Please send it to me ASAP. I have the money for the scoop and need to send it out to you. Thanks
It's not glassed shut, just looks that way. Actually the entire piece is bonded only to the decklid so the taillight assembly goes up with the decklid!
I'm assuming the wires will have to be routed a different way so that it will open correctly.
Ya know...... I still love the idea.. But, Can the taillights be bonded to the notchback panels & have the trunk open from the top, flat? (Like the Vette hardtops or the older MR2's engine lid.) How hard would that be? I know the lock system would have to be modified, but I think (Just my 2cents ) that the rear end would look better if the lights & panel were stationary..
Well anyway........ Good luck & keep up the good work.
Doesn't look bad, sort of Vettish (<--- I made up my own word, lol ) which I like. I really like though that it doesn't really flow well with the curves on the car. Looks ovbiously modded. May be it will be better upon completeion. Neat to see, but I wouldn't stick one on my car. The best of luck to your project.
Man, if you can make it to be shaped with the same lines as my wrap around spoiler you can count another one sold. I don't really like the box-ness to it. Very innovative, Keep up the great work tho!!!!!!

Personally, I think it's REALLY awesome. You should get a lot of sales since its so unique. I do agree it would look slightly better if the edges were rounded more(constructive criticism, trying to help you make your product the best it can be). People tend to think that the square look is where the notchback lights are flawed. This kit should really help them out. If I had a notchback, I would buy one. I think it's cool that they go up with the hood, exotic.

Guys, I am glad to have had many response in less than 24 hours. I wont get into details for about a week or 2. This prototype/ concept is only 70 percent done. There will be 3 versions to Notchback euro taillight kit. One of them will be like Haze's idea. Fastback concept will also be added as the project goes along. The final conversion will make fastback GT's look dull. I love my fastback GT. But I think I will love my final Fibersmith fast/ Notchback conversion more, hehehe. It will make the car wider and bigger. The first prototype here will be out in 2 months, I hope. And the money will go back to invest in more developments. Finally, The whole rear end treatment will come. The means, new bumper replacements. I cant tell ya what's in my mind yet But... "It is all good!" thanks agian, pat kalsmith the fibersmith.

I was just thinking the same thing just a while ago. I was up at walmart and I saw a honda civic 2 door hatchback all riced out in the parking lot. It had 8 holes cut in the rear bumper that arent for exhaust or anything, just for rice appeal. It had a fart can under the bumper. I was thinking a rear fascia with a shaved exhaust outlet so it is the same height all the way across but have 2 of these holes cut on each side to integrate the exhaust into the rear fascia. That would be awesome. I think im going to work it up in photoshop and see what happens.
Guys, love you all too! you guys give me the fire to go on. thanks a bunch for the support. can't wait till this comes out, so that i can get on the second version hehehe.. pat k PS i think fastback attachment kit will be an awesome add on to euro notchback cars. let me do some thinking. oh oh!!! mean while, i am working on Fastback GT roof spoiler, hehehe.... safe your pennies, hehehe
