I just ordered a set of Intrax Springs from a forum member and have some questions for people that have either of the springs. What is the drop in in the Intrax and Eibach? And also how is the ride compared to each other? I would like to know some info about them. TRiAD has told me that Intrax have been faulty in past and that the springs could collapse in the future. Just wanted to hear some opinions, I would like to know have a collapsed Fiero on the side of the road because of faulty aftermarket springs. Thanks!

Well.. I'm an Eibach guy.. I've never used Intrax. I've heard a lot of negitive things about them but I've never seen any proof that they were bad. I'm thinking of buying a set for my SE.

I think I am going to buy a set of rear eibachs. I cut mine all around, and the fronts are awesome, but I am having a problem keeping the rears on the spring perches. Last night when I blew out that tire, the right rear spring came off the perch and was all cockeyed in there. The car sure sits nice, but I dont want this happening on a regular basis.

I have Eibach springs! My '86 GT looks ok, I guess, though it is not as low as I had thought it would be. Eibach claims 1" but I measured a 2" drop all around. There remains an irritating 2" space between the top of the tire and the wheel well, however. The ride is noticeably more firm than stock springs. It is somewhat harsh over pronounced repair patches in the asphalt. I run 45 series aspect ratio tires but I don't know if that adds to the sensitivity to road imperfections
