Glad to hear your both going to be ok, sucks about the car. Looks and sounds like it was a beauty.

BTW, about the 3000Gt, not to nit pick or anything but only the VR4s were AWD and Turbo. And if you raced a VR4 and were kickin his butt, then its a damn shame some one had to turn in front of you guys. Because thats not very easy to accomplish. My buddy had a VR4 and it was hell on the firebirds and camaros. even pissed off some vettes.

Hope Sean has good luck finding a replacement Fiero. He is getting another one sometime right

I don't see why I should have any compassion for somebody that was running a red light at 75+ MPH. He's just lucky he didn't kill himself or anyone else.
I just became a LOT less tolerant of dumb sh!t like this a couple of weeks ago when a good friend's 19 year old son was killed. He was the passenger in a car driven by his 21 year old friend (also killed). They were street racing, lost control, went into oncoming traffic, got hit by a pickup and ran into an overpass. I don't think a lot of you guys have ANY idea the pain YOUR death would cause others. No parent should ever have to bury their child, especially not because of something so avoidable.

seanh, I DO wish you full recovery and hope you learned something from this.

My thoughts exactly... I hope you both get better, but damn, I hope you both get smarter, too. There's no reason and no excuse for this kind of stupid sh!t to happen.

On a somewhat-sorta-vaguely-related note:

I used to date a woman who drove like a bat out of Hell *everywhere* she went. I refused to ride with her in her own SUV, and she didn't want to ride in the Formula because I wouldn't let her smoke in it, so basically it boiled down to either I drive us in her SUV, or we take separate vehicles... but one thing I told her was that they way she drives, when she's finally in the accident that's just waiting to happen, I hoped that she didn't kill anyone either one of us knew or loved. Not sure if that note sunk in or not...

I hope you get better soon, Seanh. I feel your pain on the loss of your car.

I've done my share of stupid stuff when I was a kid. It's amazing I lived to tell the tales. Now you've had a brush with death and a very big stroke of good luck. Use some of this time to evaluate what happened.

The biggest problem with street racing, and driving like a bat of of hell in general, is that your actions affect more than just yourself. If you want to go full out, and you loose it and die... well, you made the choices, and you were aware of the risks. I can respect that. The people you may take with you, and those you leave behind, had no say in the matter.

Take it to the track next time.

I am truly sorry , and I hope everyone recovers 100%. My prayers will be with Seanh. I personally love to drive fast, but try to keep it in rural areas and follow a few rules but I do not race others (and no I am not condoning my actions, accidents can happen at any time and speeding after all is against the law). A person basically has a choice what he wants to do with his life....but when you start putting others in danger because of your driving, then in my humble opinion you have crossed the line it is no different than playing with a loaded gun and accidently killing someone.

I am really sorry to be feeling this way but I think this whole thread is bulls**t. I believe that Sean was in a wreck cause he sent me pics after he was in it. He never said anything about a friend being in the car and I will include all email exchanges after the wreck and if anyone is interested I will include the 2 months of email before it saying that "he shipped it yesterday" everytime I sent him a question about it. I don't want to start a flame war, I just want what is mine, after that you guys can all take your chances with buying from him. I have bought things from:

Smoooooth GT - bought nitro kit
Indiana_resto_guy - bought AC bracket
86se_fiero - bought two fieros from him

They can all tell you that I paid in full and recieved my order, Smoooooth and I had a little trouble but I understood what was going on, cause he emailed me and told me.

Now before anyone flips out about this post including (SeanH or Fieros4life2002) and decide to blow me up. Read this or ask for all the email I have saved from over 3 months ago. I am an HONEST guy and I am also a very TRUSTING guy, it is a shame that it seems to be ok for me to be a SCREWED guy too. I am also a very smart guy that will not hesitate to take legal action, does FRAUD mean anything anymore?? Just my 2 cents.
https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum4/HTML/005447.html

Still haven't recieved any email from Fieros4life2002.....guess he lost his computer.

START AT THE BOTTOM AND WORK YOUR WAY UP.
(feel free to comment now if you like, but notice how well his email was working more than a week after his accident and now it doesn't, now this other guy has to handle everything????)

Ok, I'll get some pictures today if I can and send them...The only thing I think I have sold already is the seats...I will probally be ditching the tranny, so if your interested in it let me know. It is a TH125c 3spd Auto tranny, and in almost perfect condition before the wreck, and I'm sure its fine still, but the axle's are busted.

can you send me some pics of the rear-end, the passenger side and the interior? I need a little of all, and my car is exactly like yours. Is yours an auto or manual? either way are you keeping the tranny?

Hey, I just got my email working right again. Your spoiler went out Thursday last week, but I just had UPS pick it up and take it since they were at my house anyway. So I have to call on Monday for the tracking number. I'll email it Monday evening, but he said you can expect it Thursday this week

Oh and I forgot to say, I am also very compassionate, I hope that everyone involved with the accident is ok. Including the person that was hit by Sean, and the passenger.

Seriously, I don't wish harm on anyone, period. Get well all.

Hello everyone.

A few points to consider.

1) Accidents suck. That fiero was definitely hit pretty bad. I hope (as I'm sure all of us do) that no one was seriously hurt and that everyone recovers.

2) Everything you post on the internet has the potential of being archived...sometimes for a long time.

That's why I'm amazed at the number of people who bullshit.

3) None of us really knows what went down.

4) Uh...12 second twin turbo v6. If you've been on this board a while you might remember.

So Sean, just being Sean, took off after him and the 3000gt ran the red light by turning into the left turning land and flying thru the light, we attempted to do the same thing, and just then the light turned green and an outta town car turned left right out of the middle land and we plowed into the side of them, knocked them out of the way, and rammed into the metal light pole at about 75mph. So thats the story about what happened that night. ...
It was a very fun race though...

I was very suprised, but the witnesses only said he was speeding, doing about 60 in a 35 and had his breaks applied (actually that was to elminate tourque converter lockup like he always does when he races) but they all saw this lady turn from the middle lane when she could have clearly looked back and seen another car's lights in the turning lane because he was there the whole time, he didn't just veer into the turning land like she was trying to claim. That and the fact she had been driveing without insurance and has skipped town to avoid charges of the addident now, so it looks unlikely that he'll get any insurance money out of her.

I hope every involved in this accident have a speedy recovery, but something about this does not sound right to me. Perhaps it is me, but it just sounds fishy.

Well OF COURSE I hope he gets through it ok, thats a given! Just like someone else said, I have seen this situation lots of times..in fact I had one a few months ago..same thing, badly injured due to people street racing...I got into a pursuit the other night w/ a car that was street racing (the other guy came to his senses and stopped)..I let him go so that I wouldnt cause (another) accident. The Dukes of Hazzard and Fast and Furious are great on tv, but in real life its BADDDD news.
Sorry if I came across as a hard ass..really didnt mean to...I DO hope everyone comes out ok. But, let this be a lesson to ya kiddies about street racing

First off, I don't believe street racing can be stopped.
Yes I have been guilty of it but as I get older I tend to think about other people on the road and there right to be there. This has just about stopped me from street racing accept in the best of situations. But even in the best of situations it is still dangerous to all that's near.

I have heard of programs where cops use a car for drag racing on the track in order to pull in folks that would be inclined to street race. I think programs of this nature is a way to help slow street racing and turn racing into the fun it should be.

My advise to the willing street racer is that if you just have to turn the horses loose, pick the best time and spot. Remember, I had some friends that done that once.

Alright, glad you read the message. Yes, at the time you talked to him he was probally still in the hospital shortly after the wreck. He is at home now, but just kinda stays there in bed. He has a pretty bad concusion he still isn't fully recovered from. His computer was kind of destroyed in the wreck so he doesn't really have acess to one anymore, so thats why he asked me to take care of things. My email address is fieros4life2002@yahoo.com just send shipping information there. I don't have access to his email account so don't send it to him. Yeah, he told me you already paid for it and all and its boxed and ready to go, he just wasn't able to drive after the accident so he was never able to send it. I will take care of it Wednesday or Thrusday and send you another PM or email when it goes out.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
This is a PM that I just received from Fieros4life2002. I sent him an email, and he hasn't replied to it. I just sent him a PM. So now I'll just wait to see how long it takes for him to reply to it. The only reason that I'm doing this is so that everyone can see what I am going through. I sent an email to the address that he listed in this post, but no reply.

Oh yeah...since when did they start putting computers with internet access into hospital rooms? Just curious.

Check out how recently the Yahoo account was updated (created???). What did he update, his sex???

Check out the following thread, because he's not only ignoring my emails, he's also ignoring others. Again, I'm all for compassion and not for dishonesty, and my patience are wearing thinner every day that this continues.

I hope you guys make a speedy recovery, but I also hope you learned a lesson from this. Please don't race on the street. It is not safe for you or anyone else that is driving it when you race. Remember the kid that ran into the back of his mothers car killing her, this too happened recently. Anyway get well soon and try to keep it at the track.

EGG sactly!!! I can't figure out WHY sean would initiate this kind of BS (which is what it smells like to me) but it is not without precedent. I remember the twin turbo (now down to a single turbo with nitrous) and the 19 speakers with 5 amps. Strangely enough, photographic evidence was never produced. Now we get pics of a wreck that I remember hearing about months ago, too. So there is a camera somewhere in Nebraska (maybe it's in his Lexus).

C'mon sean, this is bad. If you are indeed messed up, then get well soon. But it seems as if I've heard "Wolf" just a couple too many times, son.

Man did this post take a turn. Since I have no idea of what happened let me say I hope everyone is OK. This whole thing STINKS. I was going to buy some parts from this guy and have decided to pass on the parts . 87fastback have you considered asking for help from a forum member that lives close to this guy ? Maybe someone out there can help this guy and pick the wing up for him. I have been ripped off before and I feel for you.
As far as steet racing goes it's getting very hard to find a road that is reasonable safe. I must clearly state that in past I street raced ( 1977-1985 ). Children that want to see daddy every night sure change the way you think. I continued to race on race tracks for many years after that but I had a roll cage , helmut and other racers that knew what they were doing. You also don't have to worry about innocent people getting in the way. We all like to drive fast at times but if you put 2 cars next to each other trying to beat the other to the next traffic light is just asking for trouble. Again I hope everyone is OK and I don't want to impose my values on anyone. As I was looking at the pictures my 8 year old daughter came in and saw the pictures too. I had to answer some uncomfortable questions but not near as bad as the ones my wife would have to answer if something happened to me.

Non verbal communication cannot be displayed over the internet. Certain things people say may seem harsh on screen but may have been typed with the best intent. You are forgetting that you cannot hear someone's tone of voice or see their body language as they type. A thought may not come out right when it is put into words. - That's why people can't write a book over night. So don't get mad at people for not typing their feelings well.

Just my .2 cents. - BTW, I hope everyone ends up alright.

I am reasonably close (about 250 miles) and would be willing to drive out there, but it will take 2 tanks of gas for me to drive there and back. I would need to be reimbursed for that (no more than $25) before I would think of driving out there.

LMK if I can help.

Hey that's ok, but thanks for offering, really that means a lot. I think I will wait for a while and see what happens with this. I will continue to keep everyone posted on this every email I get I will post here for everyone to see. It seems kind of funny that Fieros4life2002 is not returning email or checking out his own thread, JUST LIKE SEANH.....but we'll see what happens. It is sad that it has to come to this in order for two people to finish a deal. Oh well, I gotta do what I gotta do.

It might just be me... but "Fierosforlife2002" seems to be "seanh" under a new name..

UMMMM... No I don't know how...

And.... if I'm wrong about who he is, I sincerely apologize. I'm NOT trying to start something. It just seems "fishy" to me.

But Oh well.. who really cares??

I'm about 200 miles away, I'd be willing to drive out and get your parts.

All this does smell a bit fishy to me, especially when you consider the past....

You have to read the entire thing again if you missed it. In a nutshell, SeanH sold a spoiler to fastback, and never delivered. He then had an accident, which from the discription sounds to be partially his fault, and he should have been charged with some type of traffic offense, but got off scott free. He then was able to post emails to fastback from his hospital bed. Afterwards when he was at home he could not send or receive any email, and too injured to finalize the deal with fastback, so he asked Fieros4life to take care of settling all of his affairs. His buddy has conveinently disappeared, and from the sounds of it, could very well be Sean himself (my opinion). Sounds kind of twisted, but my mind can be that way at times. Of course I could be dead wrong, and Sean is really recovering, I hope that is the case, and that he is not trying to weasel out of a deal where he pocketed the cash, and is changing identities in an attempt to hide.

SWEET!!! I am glad there are people reading this, and agreeing with me. I just got an email from a guy by the name of Nic AKA Fieros4life2002 and he asked for my shipping information again, which I already PM'ed him last night and gave it to him. I sent my address again and am now waiting again (this makes over 3 months) for my spoiler to arrive. Hopefully I will get it soon, or this thread is going to be huge.

Thanks guys.

I would have liked to see the race...but what I understand this crash happened afterwards. I've hit a wooden telephone at 35 MPH not fun. I lost a friend who crashed his bike GSXR a while back. Thing is he actually used to wear a shirt that said 'IF SPEED KILLS-YOUR LOOKING AT A DEAD MAN'

hope everyone (and everything) ends up ok

i was told somthing a few years ago buy a cop who stoped me for doing 110 in a 35 on my bike, he said raceing is never gonna stop, no matter what any one does, laws, police, what ever , people are gonna race, and speed, and continue to drive reclessley, and defencivley, so if your gonna do it think about it and go some where a little less un-populated and remember this
LEAVE YOURSELF A WAY OUT OF EVERYTHING!!!
when driving excessivey, or whatever always have a way out

i have learned alot in thinking about that statment.
and i now think a little differantly about street racing
although i still do it !!
yes fast cars are fun
but think about it, WAS IT WORTH IT???
or even more IS WHAT COULD HAPPEN WORTH IT??
some may say yes, but realisticley?
i hope to HELL you say no!

by the way, the cop didnt have me clocked and gave me a ticket for 10 mph over

Here in S.D. you only have to be 14 to have a valid drivers liscense that alows you to drive from sun up to sun down
and a full valid D.L. at age 16
so we tend to have alot of 14 to 16 yr old
un-expierinced WEINERS driving around in fagged out hondas that mommie and daddie bought for them
they simpley dont have the driving experiance and the kwnolage to know what they or the cars are capeable of.
so, i guess all of my babbling comes down to KNOW YOUR LIMITS not only that, know the limits of your car

i wish you all the best in a speedy recovery

Something isn't right here !

I took exception to a statement by Fieros4Life2002 that "the accident was deemed the other vehicals fault for turning from the middle lane."

I've been in the legal profession for about 30 years now. Can't help but pay an interest whenever something like this pops up on the Forum.

I've seen a lot of accidents and chased a few ambulances in my day.

Sure wish I could find that lady who did the "turn from the middle lane when she could have clearly looked back and seen another car's lights in the turning lane because he was there the whole time, he didn't just veer into the turning land like she was trying to claim."
By Fieros4Life2002's own admission: "He was comeing down the steet in the left lane (street raceing obviously, I was with him) and a car turned out of the middle lane and he hit the side of them and then the traffic light post at about 75mph head on."
A later post continues the accident "... was deemed the other vehicals fault for turning from the middle lane. I was very suprised, but the witnesses only said he was speeding, doing about 60 in a 35 and had his breaks applied ..."
In the accident investigation game, we call something like speeding (brakes applied or not) going 60 MPH in a 35 MPH zone a CONTRIBUTING FACTOR to the accident irregardless that an improper turn would be the SOLE AND ACTUAL cause.
I can honestly say I would help represent this lady in a court of law even understanding the full extent of her contribution toward the cause of the accident if stated factually by Fiero4Life2002.

When I saw "...the fact she had been driveing without insurance and has skipped town to avoid charges of the addident now, so it looks unlikely that he'll get any insurance money out of her."

I am glad I don't work in Nebraska because anyone can just "leave town" to avoid prosecution for damages while driving without insurance. Guess she doesn't have to leave the state? I bet she can get away with it if she leaves the Country.

But what's a little more interesting is the fact I can't seem to contact any Law Officer in or near North Platt, Nebraska to obtain additional information about this lady in regards to a citation being written or even considered.

Strange also that THERE HASN'T BEEN A MULTIPLE VEHICLE ACCIDENT WITH A FIERO INVOLVED IN THE ENTIRE STATE during the last 30 days. Clerk I talked with even joked saying: "Maybe even the last year."
I'm still checking on records found in a search of a Fiero accident reported in Lincoln County Nebraska. Appears a Grey 1986 Fiero was involved in a SINGLE vehicle accident there last Fall.
This was after the accident Sean had on July 15, 2001.

Plan on seeing some fiends in Grand Island, Nebraska on my way to or from North Platt this long Holiday weekend.

I have to do what I do best, investigate, if just for my own curiosity. Wasn't too hard to find information about someone who owns both a 1986 Fiero as well as a 1989 Beretta in a small place like Nebraska.
I will provide additional updates Tuesday of next week, but I think everything is going to fall apart on it's very own in this Thread before then.
