Here are some pics of a short shifter I made, nothing special just used the shift lever from an 85/4 speed GT. The lever itself (shaft portion)is now 3 1/2 inches. I haven't tried it yet I have some electrical connections and switches I installed in this area (right behind the shifter that will interfere now if I don't move them. Anyway I hope it works OK
Once I install it I am thinking about asking the member here on the forum that makes the pool ball shifter knobs if he will make me one out of the CUE ball .... I think it will contrast nicely with my car , just plain and simple as well as matches exterior. Sorry can't remember who it is .... if your reading this please send me an Email. How does those that have bought them like them ? My concern is the diameter being to big making them look out of place. Any comments? Anyone have one on a short shifter?

Looks great, i like the shortened shifters better than the long stock ones.

I really like my new shifter ball. I got a two ball which is blue. I have the grey interior and its looks great. He really does a good job on them. I highly recommend getting one. Here is his adddress.
